Ancient versions of bread pudding include Om Ali, an Egyptian dessert made from bread, milk or cream, raisins and almonds; Eish es Serny, a Middle Eastern dish made from dried bread, sugar, honey syrup, rosewater and caramel; and Shahi Tukra, an Indian dish made from bread, ghee, saffron, sugar, rosewater and almonds.

Bread puddings have remained popular throughout the ages, and at the Bisbee Grille, we keep the love alive with our own special recipe of blended spices and dried fruits to create the perfect "comfort food".

One of our favorite drinks is Iced Chai, a drink that
is made from black tea and milk, sweetened with
honey and spiced with cardamom, ginger,

The drink has been enjoyed for more than
5,000 years and has its roots are deeply entrenched
in the Hindu natural healing system called
ayurveda, in which spices and herbs are used
to treat specific ailments.

Such treatments include the powerful antioxidant
power of black tea. The spices used in chai impart
individual health benefits, such as ginger, which is
beneficial to the digestive system.

During past football seasons, it has been a deviant tradition to have Bisbee alter Douglas’ “D” to become “B” and vice-versa. But we have matured...

The “B” still proudly stands on our mountain, and we celebrate it with our “B” Hill Burger: a grilled burger topped with onion rings, crisp bacon, Swiss cheese, and barbecue sauce.

Throughout antiquity, scallops have symbolized the feminine principle. Outwardly the shell can symbolize the protective and nurturing principle, and inwardly the "life-force slumbering within the Earth"

Many paintings of Venus, the Roman goddess of love and fertility, included a scallop shell in the painting to identify her. This is evident in Botticelli's classically inspired The Birth of Venus (also known as Venus on the half-shell.
