As well as wanting to serve our vacation travelers a nice
cup of chai over ice, we also want to impart the benefits
of having your personal ICE (In Case of Emergency) on
your cell phone. Many of us carry a cell phone with names
and numbers stored in its memory but nobody, other than
ourselves, really knows which of these numbers belong
to our closest family or friends.
If you are on vacation and are involved in an accident
or emergency, would the people attending to you know
who to call? There are hundreds of numbers stored in
your phone but which one is the contact person
“In Case of Emergency”?
This concept is simple to implement. The person you
wish to be contacted in case of an emergency should be
listed in your phone as your ICE. Then if someone needs
to call them on your behalf, they only have to look up
ICE in your cell phone. Of course, you would want to follow
the ICE with their name so the caller knows who they
are calling. It would look something like this:
ICE:Martha-Mom. If you have more than one contact,
simply put the item in as ICE1, ICE2, etc.
So use this tip to keep one more thing off your mind as
you enjoy your trip to Bisbee!
